What Are Tokens?
How the Homeform token system works.
Tokens are the currency for AI visualizations on Homeform. Every generation draws from your token balance — different generation types cost different amounts.
Token costs per generation
- Standard generation — 50 tokens
- 2K upscale — 100 tokens
- 4K upscale — 150 tokens
Where tokens come from
- Free tier — every new account starts with 5 renders (~250 tokens), no card required
- Monthly subscription — token allowance refreshed at the start of each billing period
- À la carte — token packages purchasable any time; purchased tokens never expire
- Brand sponsorship — brands can cover your token cost when you include their products in a generation
Checking your balance
Your token balance is visible in the top-right corner of the app next to your avatar. Click it to see a breakdown between your subscription allowance and any purchased tokens.
When you run out
When your balance hits zero, you won't be able to generate new visualizations until you top up. You can still browse, view your saved images, and access the catalog. Add tokens à la carte or upgrade your subscription from the Account menu.
Brand-sponsored generations
When you include products from brands that have allocated sponsorship tokens, those brands cover your generation cost — partially or in full. Add products from the catalog before generating to qualify.
Tokens are separate from Pro and Brand account subscriptions. Pro and Brand plans unlock professional features — tokens power your AI generations and are purchased independently.
